I’ve been in the finance and consulting world for over 30 years, working in major banks, accounting firms, consultancies, and local government. Often my work involved implementing and managing bleeding edge technologies, and helping to manage the human side of change. Being involved with disruption was and still is just a way of life.

I will be the first to say that I’m not able to solve everything for you on my own. That’s not why I’m here. I can however identify your issues and then find the right solutions for you. Consider me like your GP Doctor, but in a finance context. I use my connections to a group of like minded people with the right expertise to help resolve these issues. No one is an expert at everything, and nor should they be. What you need is someone who understands you and who can identify issues. Then you want them to find the right solutions through the right people and processes because each person that is an expert in an area will have a passion for resolving the issue.I spend more time with you than a

regular “end of year tax accountant, adviser, or consultant” because tax and finances are often not a once a year matter. I help you to work out whether you are on track with your goals which are not always financial, but are often impacted by your tax situation. For example, it may be how you reduce time in your business to enable more time with family, it could be to establish a way of making the administration of your investments less time consuming so you have more time for investing or pursuing your hobbies. The focus is what I have termed “lifestyle tax and accounting”. Because at the end of the day money is just a means to an end and should never be the focus. Making a million dollars in a month is great, but what you do with that million dollars will have a greater impact on your life than making the million dollars.

My qualifications are in degrees in Accounting and Marketing, post graduate, completed both CPA and CA programs and a diploma in Financial Planning. I am a member of both the major accounting bodies, CPA Australia and ICAANZ.
